In the second half of its journey, the Climate Justice Caravan marched through Vila Velha de Ródão, where it hopped on a short train ride to Mouriscas. There we got to know the main local environmental threats from the words of João Gouveia, founder of "Colinas do Tejo".

On the way to the next stop - the Pêgo thermal power plant, on the opposite side of the river bank - part of the Caravan went down a free section of the river in kayaks, while the others continued walking.
